Art & Convo

Art & Convo is a first official art exhibition by U&I hosted at The Factory Cafe.

U&I, a movement, and brand that has a solid belief structure. They have belief in the ability in which we all possess: to create and collaborate.

The collection of work on display, whether it is new or old artwork, will be exhibited at Art & Convo for the first time.

Art should not be created merely to reach another end. Art & Convo exhibit works by various artists who have used found objects from their spaces and made it into an artwork. The showcase shows us that art can be the outcome, when we least expect it to be.

There is an end goal for this gathering: to encourage the creation of art to those who generally would not participate. U&I and WhatsUpDurban believe that this city needs fresh ideas that can only come from us as ‘young Durban blood.’

The night will be completed with live music acts. The space and the notion are beautiful and it would be a shame to miss.

In addition, this writer will be displaying her own art work this eve.
