In conjunction with Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek, Hotel Izulu in Ballito will host a Wine Market on Sunday, 29 July 2012. Enjoy a day of good food and wine pairing with these award-winning wines from 12pm. Entrance is at a cost of R150.00 per person.
Guests can enjoy food and wine pairing options such as Cajun crusted Norwegian salmon pan seared, served with a pineapple and lemon salsa paired with Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2011 and creamy mussel, shrimp and snail casserole served with traditional ciabatta bread paired with Grande Provence Chardonnay 2010.
Further options include Ostrich fillet with berry chutney served on a pita crisp paired with Grande Provence Cabernet Sauvignon 2009, bresaola bruschetta with spicy sweet mustard sauced paired with Grande Provence Shiraz 2008 and stuffed chicken fillet with gorgonzola and caramelised figs paired with Grande Provence Pinot Noir 2010.
Wines will be available for purchase at a special reduced price by the bottle. Wine chillers will also be available.
Local band Afritude will be providing live entertainment on the day pairing good music with good food and excellent wines.
