KZN – brace yourselves, the Festival in the Hills is happening at Makaranga Lodge this weekend and is bigger and better than before. Bring out your beads, masks and boa's and get ready for a fun filled weekend with a Mardi gras on Saturday!
From 4pm on Saturday the entire family will be entertained by stilt walkers, jugglers, acrobats, dancers with fabulous costumes and more while the sounds of Platform Jazz and the aroma of roasted nuts travel over the airways.
The open air food market will keep your taste buds tantalised with Gumbo, Lamb pita's, Pancakes and other tasty treats and refreshments.
Kings Camps will be present at the festival this weekend, offering interactive children's entertainment suitable for all. Fun and energetic games will be on offer to keep your children entertained in a safe environment, while you enjoy your time with the peace of mind your children are having fun too.
There will also be art on display all weekend and on Sunday the 29th the KZN Youth Orchestra plays with the award winning Kearsney Choir and conducted by Richard Cock and you’re all invited for a bring your own picnic.
