The FNB Whisky festival is set to rock Durban from the 1st November to Friday, 2nd November 2012 at the Durban International Convention Centre 18h00 – 22h00 daily.
The FNB Whisky Live Festival is the largest whisky event of its kind – showcasing whiskies from all around the world. Celebrating its 10th year, 2012 sees the FNB Whisky Live Festival launching a whole month earlier to introduce a third leg to the show – Durban. Breaking away from the conventional exhibition style event to showcase a fresh take on the world of whisky!
A world of Whisky can be expected; a tasting hall where you can travel the whisky trails of the world with over 180 whiskies to sample. For those keen on an educational experience; whisky workshops will be held by global master distillers as they reveal the secrets that go into every drop of the grog. The Whisky Lifestyle Lounge is the perfect place to entertain and network with friends and clients in complete luxury, while tasting unique whiskies not available to the masses.
A more La-di-da connoisseur’s experience described as The Ultimate Guided Whisky Tour. Arrive in chauffeur-driven luxury; take a personalised guided tour of the festival; marvel at ‘Connoisseurs-only tastings’; and finish with a deluxe dinner in the Whisky Lifestyle Lounge. With only two tours per night and extremely limited numbers. Book early.
