This popular series of concerts is held at the lakeside of the gorgeous Durban Botanical Gardens, a lush paradise of greenery and calm in the heart of Durbs. All proceeds benefit the Garden Window Project. Ard Matthews, who’s recently released debut solo album First Offerings, will be performing live at Gateway Barnyard Theatre on August 6th 2012. Best known as the front man of local band Just Jinger and undoubtedly recognised as one of South Africa’s most prolific singer/songwriters, Ard made the decision to pursue a solo album in 2010 and dedicated himself to writing new material while travelling across the country and the world, drawing on experience, themes and thoughts making way for First Offerings. “This album has been a diary of my life in a way.
