Boasting displays from the latest in boating and water sport trends – including support from other interest in the open air lifestyle such as caravanning, camping, braaing, and holiday destinations. Since the inception of the Durban International Boat Show, first held in 2004 at Wilson’s Wharf, the event has grown from the then 30 exhibition stands and 3 500 visitors to over 80 exhibitioners and approximately 12 000 visitors last year. What is sure to be the most outrageous fun day event Durban has seen in a long time, the first ever Durban Duck Day promises to keep you entertained with excitement and games on the 15th of July 2012 at Durban’s Yacht Mole. Take a maximum of ten thousand numbered rubber bath ducks, released simultaneously to float on a tide, relying on the wind to guide and propel them to the finish.
