Boating and outdoor enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that the Durban International Boat Show returns for another jam packed exhibition during the first weekend of the 2012 July School holidays. Boasting displays from the latest in boating and water sport trends – including support from other interest in the open air lifestyle such as caravanning, camping, braaing, and holiday destinations. Since the inception of the Durban International Boat Show, first held in 2004 at Wilson’s Wharf, the event has grown from the then 30 exhibition stands and 3 500 visitors to over 80 exhibitioners and approximately 12 000 visitors last year.
